Breakbulk & Heavy Lift is the showpiece of Ucomar and the segment where we have earned our spurs. Breakbulk is simply the name for all goods that are not transported in a standard container or in bulk and that are handled individually. This often concerns large and heavy pieces and is therefore in many cases inextricably linked to Heavy Lift (the handling of goods above 15 tons). We organize breakbulk transport from A to Z by offering the following services:

• road transport (exceptional and conventional) and transport accompaniment with corresponding permits

Ucomar has a rich history in the field of project logistics and has carried out projects for leading companies in the chemical, petrochemical, construction, mining and (renewable) energy sectors. Project logistics often involve super-large and super-heavy parts that have to be delivered under time pressure and within the project timeline to sometimes very remote locations. Moreover, it often concerns one-off deliveries without reverse flow. For all these reasons, this type of logistics dictates meticulous preparation and figured engineering. We handle and ship every type of container in all its sizes and weights: standard, flat rack, reefer, heavy-tested, open-top …. In addition, we are certified to ship and handle all types of goods, including dangerous (from IMO 1 to IMO 9), military and strategic goods. Our container service includes the following:
